DREAM$CAPE

As you know we've been working on the Pens and Needles exhibition that is gonna take place in Lasalle-


its a totempole, representing the north south east west symbology  of the native americans and dream related (hence the pillows ) Unfortunately due to space constraint, they couldn't showcase it flat so it kinda doesn't make any sense now, but it is still awesome !!! come check em out today it runs till 2nd of March in Lasalle College of the Arts. Here is the original sketch :

Meet MR SANDMAN!! >>>

The middle pillow is the " main character" of the piece, the wings represent his dreams , the Native American symbolises west with the colour black or blue, this represents family, responsibilities and love. The colour for east is yellow , representing children, newness and beginnings. We gave the character wings that represented his dreams, left wing being dreams from adulthood and right dreams from his childhood, inserting urban myths like the tooth fairy and boogeyman !! We will post photos of the final outcome soon ! ! stay tuned !!

whut's happenin !!

Once again, Its MASH-UP Mondays !! I'm tired and sunburnt from Laneway festival ( for those who went, OMG ! how sick was m83 !!! ), and the weather is soooooo gooood for sleepinggggg !!! 

so an update on what we've been up to... there was a media preview with PARCO next NEXT , it was good to meet the media and have them react so positively to our collection, it felt so surreal for us three. We had to fight our fear of public speaking and interviews but that all paid off  cus we're on business times ya'll :
