O EM GEE, has it been a year already. we'll like to thank everybody that has supported MASH-UP so far, its been an amazing journey and I'm pretty sure 2013 has more great things in store for us, but in the meantime, here's a little holiday greetings from us to you :
Its been such a ride with MASH-UP , here's our top 10 most significant things that happened to us this year ( In random order ) :
1: AUDI FASHION FESTIVAL
This was mash-up's first runway show, it was such an honour to open the Parco next Next show and at the AFF tent no less. All the sweat and tears that went into this really paid off, an experience we'll always remember.
2: THE MASH-UP X CATALOG CLUTCH
We had alot of fun working with Canon and Catlog Magazine to make this clutch, we didn't want to part with the camera or the clutch after the process !
3: STUDIO SPACE
When Shaf fractured his leg after Army, we were working from Daniela's room. When my dad told me i could use his storage space for our studio, we were so elated !! Here's Shaf and his fractured leg in Daniela's room (our make-shift office ) :

4: TOTEMANIA

5: THE MASH-UP SHOP
This picture was taken during the launch of the new Parco next Next, it was such an emotional day for three of us, because this was when we felt our dreams come true : our own store !!
6: ATLANTA GOES TO ATLANTIS
We faced some problems after our Totemania collection when our production house decided to drop us. But our prayers were answered and we found other production houses that was willing to work with us, this collection was like a new lease of life for us. This is the photoshoot that was done in Melbourne when I was there for the holidays by the amazing Nathalie Thery ( Special thanks to Justine Bruers for the make-up and hair, not forgetting Christina Dietze/ Bree-Ann Dismore/ Marcelle Lourie and Andrew Giammarco for being the faces !! <3 )
7: ONLINE STORE/WEBSITE
Because we didn't have money to pay somebody to design a website for us , we had to do it ourself, after many tutorials and trial and error we finally did it !!
8: MASH-UP X LA SARDINA
We were delighted when Lomo approached us to DIY a La Sardina, it was nice to put a mash-up spin on something that's not a garment, we had fun putting this together. We also hosted our first DIY class with Lomography studios Singapore. Thank you Lomo for supporting MASH-UP !!
9 : PARKAMAYA IN KL
Our very first overseas stockist !!
10: BASH-UP WITH BUTTERFACTORY
We were so stoked when Bobby from Butterfactory approached us to do a 5 part series of parties with the butterfactory, it was good to see like-minded individuals that came and enjoyed themselves ! Remember to RSVP for the next one via our facebook page 5 JANUARY!
Having said that, we would like to thank everybody again for supporting MASH-UP , and we hope to see you next year real soon !!!! Look out for the next BASH-UP party on the 5th of JAN, we hope to see you there !!
