starting a business, man!

As we begin the journey to creating the brand, three things really got on the way today.

1. Technology

Firstly, gone are the days when you could draw a line around yourself and start auctioning your goods out. There are now hundreds of bytes of paperwork to be done before you can start a business. The most dreadful thing that can happen, will always happen, right as you're about to finish filling in your forms. The webpage expires, your battery dies, you made a mistake, you press the wrong button.

*Cue kicking, screaming and banging the table...true story*

Only thing I can advice you to do...

KEEP CALM AND START AGAIN, SLOWLY.

2. Your fortune-teller is off on a holiday.

The future is suddenly a mysterious black hole. Will this work? Will I go bankrupt? Will they take away my house?

Still trying to figure this out, all I can say is...

HAVE FAITH, THE BIG GUY UP THERE IS ON YOUR SIDE.

3.  Life. It refuses to stop. It's like twitter, someone or something is always popping up with something that needs your attention. (Just left home and left my keys at the door #FML).

There will always be showers to take, beds to make (why do them when you're going to be un-doing them in 12 hours?!), meals to be eaten (hunger is a state of mind), books to read, status-es to update, shows to catch...

We don't know the solution to this yet so maybe you could enlighten us.

Whatever the solution is, I think the only thing I have learnt today is this,

LOVE WHAT YOU DO AND DO EVERYTHING WITH LOVE. This makes missing out on other things worth it because..come on, who can argue with love? (maybe world peace)

Lastly, take pleasure in simple things (like coming up with cheesy entries like this).

If all else fails, sit in front of the TV and watch sitcom of your choice.
